This delicious burger was named after a friend of the fox. It's our grey fox burger with a twist. The bbq sauce, bacon and cheddar cheese makes this burger something to savor. We add a couple of slices of grilled jalapeño to make it spicy like its namesake!

Fabulous restaurant! The servers were joyous and kind, the live band was AMAZING, and the patio was magical. I had the sirloin, potatoes and the roasted veggies which were a delight. Not pictured was the shrimp appetizer, we ate them too quickly. Delicious. Highly recommend the apple crisp.
Such delicious food and fantastic service! Keisha, our waitress, was phenomenal. Highly recommend the chicken cordon blue bites as a side. Will come back on occasion! 11/2/2025 Came here on my birthday for brunch, and again fantastic service and food. Definitely recommend this place in Dover.
We were in town for one night and wanted to find a local restaurant. We chose this spot and are very happy we did. Delicious food in a historic setting with warm and friendly service. I had the barramundi with lemon garlic and it was fantastic, as were the mashed potatoes and fresh sauteed green beans. There was a little delay getting our order in, and our server Kisha made it right by offering a free appetizer or dessert. The bill was reasonable and the vibe was awesome. If I lived in town I'd be a regular.

Had a wonderful experience at Grey Fox Grille celebrating my friends birthday. Food was delicious and bartender Sydney and owner Cassandra were super attentive, and made our experience amazing. Will definitely return! Everything was a 10/10.
Family friendly, welcoming staff, very attentive and food was delicious 😋 my kids were picky so they recommended the boneless wings that looked like nuggets! Loved that it was a win for us. Kids enjoyed the experience and definitely a great place for family visits!
We just had a really great meal at the Grey Fox. The owner, Cassandra, is clearly involved and watching over every detail. Food was delicious. We will be back as soon as we can. Not sure just why it took us so long to get here. And they are going to expand their catering so that may very well be just the option we have been looking for when it comes to meals at home as well. OMG! We stopped at Grey Foxe Grill on a whim after our original restaurant had a two-hour wait—and I’m so glad we did. The food was absolutely delightful! The restaurant is located in a charming 150-year-old house, and the décor is cozy, homey, and picturesque. It honestly felt like going to Thanksgiving dinner at your grandma’s house, where the family is so big they have to set up extra tables everywhere just to fit everyone. It’s actually part of the charm! As for the service, our server Kisha was incredibly friendly and answered all our questions with a smile. It’s always a treat when the owners come out to check on you—it really adds a personal touch. Now, the food… amazing! Please come here for brunch. Everything we tried was delicious—there wasn’t a single bad item. The grits were easily my favorite, the steak was tender and perfectly seasoned, and the drinks were strong and tasty. 1000/10 experience. Highly recommend! ⸻
The people at the Grey Fox are, hands down, the best. They are caring, friendly, and attentive, and they provide the kind of service I would expect at a much more expensive restaurant. Everyone we encountered was wonderful. Even the chef, who happened to walk through the dining room, stopped to ask if we needed anything. What impressed me most was the attention to detail. On my visit, I set aside the lemon slice that came with my drink without mentioning it to anyone. They noticed my preference and served my second drink without lemon. That level of thoughtfulness says a lot. Our meals arrived quickly, and every interaction made us feel genuinely welcome. Great food is important, but exceptional people are what keep me coming back. The Grey Fox has both.
This is a great restaurant for a mature crowd. The outside blends in with Historic Dover's Old World Charm. Once inside, you are welcomed with the building's original charm, such as the crown moulding, high ceilings, and rooms that allow for private conversations. The bar is towards the back and had plenty of seating for many customers to enjoy friendly conversations with others. I gave then 4 stars because we brought our kids, and while the food was delicious, they weren't provided anything to keep them entertained while waiting for our food. This won't stop us from returning, but we will be mindful for next time.
